"With loud explosions from the burners, the hot air balloon lifted off the ground slowly and so quietly, it took a few moments to realize that we were actually moving! We floated over rice fields with green nursery seedlings, corn, forests of teak and palm, set every dog in the area to howling from the burner noise and flew above flocks of egrets that kept changing direction for over an hour.
